Lakshadweep

Part of the coral islands lie isolated in the warm Arabian Sea. In March, enjoy powdery white beaches and turquoise waters of Kavaratti, Minicoy and Agatti with tropical sea life and silky sand barely touched by crowds. As one of the best places to visit in India during March, Lakshadweep offers the perfect tropical getaway when many other parts of the country experience extreme temperatures. The serene islands see very few visitors in March making it an ideal time to experience the natural beauty of Lakshadweep in relative solitude.

Goa Islands

Hop over from Goa's mainland to blissful islands like Divar and Chorao for some quiet time amid coconut groves. Small beach shacks serve fresh catch- relax barefoot in the sun watching fishing boats.

Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh

Diu, Gujarat

This picturesque former Portuguese territory boasts pristine sugar-white beaches and fortresses standing guard. Stroll along coastal paths taking in views of the blue Arabian Sea as fishing boats come ashore.
