The Former Situation of Indian Tourist Visa

Previously, if any foreign tourist wanted to re-visit India within two months from the first date of arrival, then they either have to apply for a re-entry permit or take a tour to neighboring countries of India. On applying for a re-entry permit at any Indian Visa Processing Center, you need to have a valid reason to re-enter. While, in the second case, after taking a trip to neighboring countries like Sri Lanka, Nepal, and Thailand, the tourist need to submit a printed itinerary and return journey ticket to home from India, and can re-enter in India.
