What are the best places to trek in Himachal Pradesh?

Located in the Himalayas, Himachal Pradesh is one of the most visited tourist destinations all over India owing to its cool climatic conditions and picturesque scenery. The state is also home to various trekking destinations where every year people come to vent out their inner adventure-orientated selves. One thing that you need to keep in mind is that the terrain of Himachal can treat you a little harshly, so it's better to ensure that your physical fitness isn’t lacking. With that ensured, let us now explore one of the best treks in India, the land of Snow or Himachal Pradesh.

Kheer Ganga Trek

A mountain stream, the scenic, pristine Kheer Ganga is close to Kasol. It rises from the mountains above, and the only way to reach it is to trek quickly but treacherously. Hiking enthusiasts exclaim about the splendour of the well-known Kheer Ganga Trek, which is popular across the country.

Triund Trek

Truind Trek in Mclodganj is situated in the Dhauladhar Mountains and offers you a scenic view of nearby mountains and the Kangra Valley. The gorgeous deodar and oak mixed forest are stretched up to six kilometres of the entire trail. At the campsite, where you can stay in tents and enjoy a retreat from city life and its hubbub, the adventurous expedition comes to an end.

Beas Kund Trek

If you are near Manali you must do the Beas Kund Trek. The Kund is located at a height of more than 12000 feet and is also the originating point of one of the major Indian rivers, Beas. The main peaks of Manali, such as Friendship Peak, Shitidhar, Ladakhi, and Hanuman Tibba, may be seen up close on the Beas Kund hike. The hike can be enjoyed if done on a bright sunny day.
