How many of the Disneylands and theme parks around the world have you been to and what are the Disneyland tickets prices? I've visited eight out of the eleven theme parks that Disney has in California, Florida, Paris, and Tokyo. Out of all of these theme parks, which one is my favorite? And what about Disneyland Hong Kong? The most magical place on Earth can be found in six countries (the United States, Japan, France, Canada, Italy, and Hong Kong).
Disneyland Park is located in Anaheim, California.
Disneyland Park is located in Anaheim, California. It is the original Disneyland and was opened on July 17, 1955. This Disneyland is the only park that offers both the Fantasyland and Tomorrowland areas of the park. It was also the first to introduce a Main Street USA area. This park is also home to Sleeping Beauty’s Castle, which is one of the most iconic features of any Disney theme park.
Hong Kong Disneyland
Hong Kong Disneyland opened in 2005 as part of a multi-year plan to expand Disney into Asia with parks in Japan and China as well as other locations around the world. This park features many rides based on classic Disney films such as “Aladdin” and “Toy Story” along with other attractions inspired by local cultures such as Mystic Manor and Grizzly Gulch.
Tokyo Disney Resort: Chiba Prefecture, Japan
Tokyo Disneyland opened in 1983 as a sister park for Tokyo Disneyland Resort which includes Tokyo DisneySea Park (opened 2001) and Tokyo Disneyland Hotel (opened 1979). Tokyo Disneyland includes some of the most famous rides from the original Disneyland in California including the Matterhorn Bobsleds, Splash Mountain, and Space Mountain. Tokyo Disneyland also features its own versions of popular attractions such as Pirates of the Caribbean and Indiana Jones Adventure.
