Hindus of America battled with the Bridgewater Zoning Board for over 5 years for the expansion of its facility and finally triumphed in 2004 with the approval for the large-scale expansion of their cultural center.  The Zoning Board agreed to alot a land for the houses of priests, and a parking garage denying the neighbor's appeal of occupying their property and causing excessive traffic on the road.

Finally, the Venkateswara temple bridgewater nj was opened to all and witnessed massive visitors from across the globe.

Located in Bridge Water New Jersey, Venkteshwara Temple is the most sacred place for the Hindus living in New  Jersey.

The temple was established by a group of Hindus residing in New Jersey In 1989 and the HTCS procured land in Bridgewater, NJ to construct a temple with traditional stone.  After that, the members of the society and other Hindu devotees started worshiping and other spiritual activities in 1995 while the temple was under construction.

The traditional stone-laying ceremony was done by Cheena Jeeyar Swami in 1998 and a congregation ceremony was held when this divine 11000 feet balaji mandir nj, was inaugurated.

In December 2005, the Bridgewater zonal authorities did not grant permission for the expansion of the temples for the houses of the priests and cultural center for performing other cultural activities in the Temple campus.
